Is it possible to do a resort trip with 13 families? Would childcare be available for a night if we wanted to go out grown-ups only?

    Hi, Rekha!

Disney Group Getaways can help you plan a vacation with family and friends if the plan is to book 10 or more resort rooms. They can help you with special pricing, room blocks, and even private events exclusively for your group.

Another option, whether or not anyone traveling in the party is a Disney Vacation Club member, is to look into the Deluxe Villa Resorts. Multiple families can stay in the same resort villa, and many have amenities that include full kitchens, washer and dryer units, more than one bathroom, and separate bedrooms. The largest of these villas can accommodate up to 12 guests, and that may allow two or three families to share the space.

There are a couple of options available for a grown-ups night out. Brand new to Walt Disney World is the Pixar Play Zone. With games, characters, dinner, and dessert, this is a great place to bring children ages 4-12 while parents enjoy a night on their own. Open from 6 - 10:30 PM, kids will enjoy character meet and greets with their favorites from the Incredibles and Toy Story, plus games, crafts, singing, dancing, and more. This is $65 per child for the entire evening of fun.

Another childcare service available for resort guests is the in-room service provided by Kids Nite Out. These are sitters that come directly to your resort room. The fee is based on the number of children, and they come prepared for fun with children ages 6 months to 12 years.

    Have the best time, Rekha!
