Is it possible to request a room with a queen bed and bunk beds for the kids rather than 2 queens? How do I go about doing that? Thankyou

    Hiya, Suzanne! Welcome to planDisney!

I'm thrilled to hear that you're making plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort! When it comes to planning, I love picking which Disney Resorts Collection hotel to call "home" during my visit. And since I love my rest as much as Sleeping Beauty, choosing just the right room with just the right bed is a priority!

Suzanne, I reached out to a Cast Member and they let me know that the only rooms available with bunk beds are The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. These Wilderness Cabins feature a queen bed, a double-size sleeper sofa, and bunk beds. However, I have another option that would work well for you! I think you'd be interested in rooms that offer a 5th sleeper bed. These rooms would include 2 queen beds and a child-sized pull-down sleeper. This would provide a great option for your kids to have their own space to sleep!

Disney Resorts Collection hotels that offer rooms with a 5th sleeper are Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Also, Disney's Riviera Resort has a Deluxe Studio that offers a queen bed, a queen pull-down bed, and a single pull-down bed. In fact, if you search the Disney Resort hotels, look for rooms that can accommodate two adults and three children. You'll be able to view which resorts can accommodate five Guests – meaning, both of your kids could have their own space to sleep without sharing a bed.

As you continue to prepare for your visit, be sure that you've made your theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass system! This is an important step to reserve the parks you wish to visit on each day of your trip. And take a little time to download and explore the My Disney Experience app! You'll be able to view park maps, check wait times for attractions, and even mobile order food. This is a great way to minimize the waits and maximize the fun!

I hope I was able to help you with your Disney Resort hotel, Suzanne! If you have any other questions, please visit us again. After all - you've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon!
