Is it still possible to rent a tent ? I heard it was not possible.

Hi there, Angela! Welcome back to planDisney--I'm so pleased you decided to be our guest once again. You've got a friend in me, and like my favorite cowgirl Jessie I'm ready to jump right in to help out with your camping query!

I'm so excited that you'll be visiting The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort in just a few short weeks. It's a peaceful and secluded spot--perfect to relax and unwind away from the bustle of the theme parks. There are so many fun activities at Fort Wilderness, from horseback riding and archery to the can't-miss entertainment and down-home dining at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue

Angela, I spoke with a Cast Member at the resort who shared that they do not offer tent rentals at this time. There are several Disney Featured Providers for RV rentals for the Campsites that may have information about additional equipment, including tents. You are of course also welcome to bring your own tent, and you could even order one and have it shipped in advance so it's waiting for you upon your arrival!

I'm sorry this isn't the information you were hoping for, but I am sure that you will have a magical stay under the stars at Fort Wilderness! If you have any other questions that we can help with before you come "Home" to Walt Disney World Resort, please reach out to our planDisney crew anytime--we're happy to help!
