Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so excited that your vacation planning cruising right along. Before you know it, you will be
celebrating the holidays in sunny Florida. Maybe you will check out the
Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll or taste shingles from the elaborately decorated gingerbread houses at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels. You might even feel "snow" as you walk "Right down the middle of Main Street U.S.A." It's all so wonderful!
While we can't pre-purchase a Resort-Refillable Mug, they are very easy to find and activate as soon as you arrive. There is no reason to be parched! Simply head to any
Quick Service dining location at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel and you will find plenty. Normally, there is a selection by the cash wrap, but they tend to be sprinkled around. Once activated, you can feel free to fill it with soda, tea, and coffee as many times as you would like for the next two weeks!
Did you know, Sadie, that Resort-Refillable drink mugs are included with all Disney
dining plans? It's true! With this pre-paid dining option, each Guest on your reservation will have the chance to select the perfect 16-ounce mug for themselves and enjoy icy beverages for your whole stay. Our daughters are big fans of the iced tea.
Tip: While nobody loves to do dishes on vacation, I like a fresh mug each morning. (Plus, nobody has ever accused me of being an under-packer!) Before I leave home, I cut up a normal sponge into 4 smaller pieces, toss them into a zippered baggie, and pour a little disk soap in the mix. That way, I can wash our mugs with a clean sponge each night and toss them when I am done, guilt-free! Sometimes, even these Mug Wash sinks with high power don't quite get some of the stronger flavors from the plastic, and there are some days when you might just want some ice-cold, H2O. So, I like to make sure to fully wash and dry ours in my Resort hotel room sink each night to start new the next day.
