Is it possible to make payments for your Disneyland vacation, like you can do for Disney World? Or is the total amount required at time of booking?

Hi there, Keli, and welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for bringing your question to us! Are you planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort? I think considering a Disneyland Resort Vacation Package is the perfect way to go because it'll combine your hotel stay with your Theme Park Tickets into one easy transaction and you'll even get some magical extras as well.

If you book a Vacation Package over 30 days before arrival, you'll need to put down a $200 deposit in order to hold the Package (subject to change). Full payment will be due 30 days before you arrive. There is no automatic payment agreement that will apply regular payments from your credit card, however. You have the freedom and choice to make payments however and whenever you want, but that does mean that you have to manually do so every time you want to schedule a payment. Just go to your Existing Reservations page and click on the "Make Payment" option. As long as you're paid off by the 30 day mark, you're good to go!

Don't forget to you'll be able to make dining reservations at 60 days before arrival. At the Disneyland Resort, you aren't able to make reservations for your entire length of stay, though, so be ready to get online at the 60 day mark for each day of your trip.

I'm excited for you to see Walt Disney's original Park! Our Sleeping Beauty Castle may be smaller, but our spirit and Park pride make up for that. There's definitely something special about being in the Park where Walt walked and had a direct hand in several of these attractions. As I pass the Fire Station and look up at the lit lamp, I always like to give him a silent "thanks."

Keli, I hope that this information was helpful in your planning and please let us know if we can help any further. It would be our pleasure to continue being involved in our trip and we'd love to hear from you again! Until next time!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
