Is it possible to park and visit the boardwalk area at the moment without a reservation.

Grab a beach towel, Alex, and let's visit Disney's BoardWalk! Thanks for stopping by with this beachy-keen question. It looks like you're enjoying a Walt Disney World Resort holiday now, so let's talk about parking strategies to make your visit even more magical.

According to Disney's BoardWalk Inn's amenities page, complimentary parking for day guests might be available during your stay. However, my husband and I were turned away a few months ago because the parking lot attendant told us all remaining spots were reserved for resort guests or those with dining reservations. I've found that resorts often limit visitor parking spots during busy times.

I suggest trying it if you have your own vehicle but have an alternate plan in case there's no availability. If you do make a dining reservation, that will help ensure that you're allowed to park near this quaint shopping area. I recently tried Trattoria al Forno Restaurant for the first time and had a fabulous meal. After we ate, we strolled and shopped along the BoardWalk for a pleasant and memorable evening.

Another option is to park at Disney's Hollywood Studios and board a FriendShip Boat to the BoardWalk area. I've also had friends use a rideshare service to the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel for a quick walk to the BoardWalk. A final tip is to park in the complimentary Orange Lot at Disney Springs, where you can hop on a bus bound for Disney's BoardWalk Inn.

Alex, I'm wishing on a starfish that you can enjoy the waterside vibes of Disney's BoardWalk during your trip. Please stop by planDisney anytime; I'll have the beach balls and sunscreen waiting!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
