Hi, Is it possible to park and leave my car for an overnight parking for 24 hours? I'm planning to spend my New Years Eve here at Disneyland

    Hi, Patrick!

Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for asking us your question. I’m glad to hear you want to ring in the New Year at The Happiest Place on Earth. The Disneyland Resort theme parks will stay open late and offer extra entertainment, like live performances, parades, and special fireworks, so it’s sure to be an exciting night!

Theme Park Parking is available beginning 60 minutes before the earliest standard Disneyland Resort theme park opening time. If you’ll be exploring the theme parks during your visit, you can plan to park your vehicle in the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, the Pixar Pals Parking Structure, or the Toy Story Parking Area. While there isn't an official closing time listed for these lots, you cannot remain parked there overnight. Tram service to the parking areas generally runs for an hour after the last theme park closes, and on New Year’s Eve the parks will stay open later than usual (until 1:00 a.m. at Disney California Adventure Park and 2:00 a.m. at Disneyland Park). I suggest checking with a Cast Member when you arrive if you’d like to inquire about the parking area’s latest possible exit time for that day.

I hope this helps and that your celebratory New Year’s Eve visit to the Disneyland Resort is pixie-dusted to perfection, Patrick! Please feel free to write back with more questions as you continue making plans.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
