Welcome back, Denise!
I like your way of thinking. Who doesn't like to kick off their Disney Cruise Line vacation in style with a welcome celebration in the stateroom? I sure do! Quite often, my husband and I will have a bottle of champagne waiting for us when we arrive so we can toast to a new adventure at sea. I hadn't really thought of ordering sparkling cider to be waiting for the kids, but I love that idea and may use that on our next cruise, thanks!
Sure enough, Disney does offer both options, as well as many other in-stateroom gifts of food and drink and other goodies. Check out the
Gifts and Amenities page of Disney Cruise Line's website to place a pre-order for one of the items listed. I also highly suggest one of the stateroom decoration packages. I was surprised on my birthday cruise a few years ago with floor to ceiling decor when we arrived! It sure was a great start to our trip!
I see you set sail in June of this year, Denise. That leaves you plenty of time to pick a great welcome package as well as browse all of the exciting
Port Adventures and also hopefully book a romantic dinner at
Palo, the adult exclusive restaurant onboard. We never miss an opportunity to dine there whether it be for dinner or brunch or both when possible! Have a bite of Palo's famous chocolate souffle for me. You will not regret it. Yum!
Enjoy planning this magical adventure!
