Is it possible to have luggage transportation on day of arrival? Can i be dropped off at the Contemporary Resort for breakfast and have my luggage transported to the boardwalk while we go to the magic kingdom?

Hello, Jerry, and welcome to planDisney! You'll arrive for your Walt Disney World Resort adventure this week, so I hope you've packed your Mickey Mouse tees! You have a full first day planned, so let's look at some strategies for fitting in all the fun.

I chatted with a helpful Cast Member who said that, unfortunately, Bell Services at Disney's Contemporary Resort won't be able to store or transfer your luggage. Luggage transfers are reserved for split stays between Disney Resort Hotels. I know this isn't the news you hoped for, so let's talk about options.

If you've scheduled a shuttle service or rideshare from the airport, the Cast Member I spoke to recommended you ask the driver to take you to Disney's BoardWalk Inn first. Bell Services is just outside the entrance, so it should only take a few moments to drop off your bags. You could head on to breakfast at The Contemporary, and my tip is to take the walkway from that resort to the Magic Kingdom Park entrance. You'll go through a separate security checkpoint which I've found quick and easy.

Jerry, I hope you can work out a plan to get the most magic from your Disney day! Please stop by planDisney for tips and recommendations. We're happy to help guests in any way we can!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
