How is it possible that "Be our Guest", a 550-seat restaurant, is booked the entire week of October 21st-26th? I am unable to make reservations for any of the character restaurants including Cinderella's restaurant and Chef Mickey's. Tips? Sugges

Hi, Jessica!  Be Our Guest is probably the hottest dining reservation anywhere on Walt Disney World property right now, with guests dialing in as soon as phone lines open 180 days in advance to book their dinner reservations.  Combined with the fact that the restaurant only takes reservations for dinner, and there will be several Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween parties during that time frame, a reservation here is a hot commodity.

Many of the character meals also book fairly well in advance.  Chef Mickey's often fills up entirely, and behind Be Our Guest, Cinderella's Royal Table may be the second most popular restaurant.  For character dining that may still have openings, check 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian, breakfast at Cape May at the Beach Club Resort, or possibly Hollywood and Vine for breakfast or lunch at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  I've had some good luck getting later reservations there.

I always tell people to keep trying.  Especially where restaurants have a credit card guarantee required, guests who may not be able to make a reservation will cancel them a couple of days before, so something might open up.  And I know someone who just snagged a reservation for Be Our Guest for next week by calling in today - something he's done everyday for nearly six months!

Be Our Guest also has counter service dining at lunch time.  If all else fails, you can dine at this incredibly themed restaurant at lunch with no reservations.

    Good luck!
