Is it possible to get a free powered scooter for my husband to use post back surgery? We didn't realize he'd need one and now we have so many expenses w his dr bills & this trip.

    Hi Christi!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am so sorry to hear about your husband's recent surgery.  I hope he is recovering well,  I bet a little bit of magical fun at Walt Disney World Resort will surely help speed his healing process.   It's my pleasure to help you out today.

Guests can rent an Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) at all four theme parks, both water parks and Disney Springs.  ECV rentals are on a first come first served basis and can not be reserved.  These scooter do have a rental price associated with them per day.    If you are in need of an ECV for your entire vacation, I suggest you look at renting through a Disney featured provider.    This would allow you to have the scooter throughout your vacation to be used at your convenience.  The list of featured providers is listed on the bottom of the website I linked above.

I hoped this has helped to guide you in the right direction.  If you think of anything else we can help you with before you depart on your magical adventure, please let us know.  It's always fun to help out a fellow Guest.
