Is it possible to see the firework show and Fantasmic show on the same night? Any tips on doing this?

Hello there Erika!  I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney with your great question.

That would be such an amazing night to catch two nighttime spectaculars in one evening!  I am so excited that Fantasmic! is scheduled to return on May 24, 2024, but we do not have the showtimes just yet.  I'd keep my eye on the entertainment schedule as May gets closer, that will be the best place to see what the showtimes will be for both Fantasmic! and any other nighttime spectaculars.

A tip for hopefully catching both shows in one night would be to make sure you have a valid theme park ticket and theme park reservation for Disneyland Park, or a Park Hopper ticket so you could hop over to Disneyland Park in the afternoon.  There could be a chance that the nighttime spectacular could take place earlier in the evening around 9:30pm, and if there was a late showing of Fantasmic! you could hurry over to the Rivers of America in Frontierland to catch the later show.

You also could watch both Fantasmic! and the nighttime spectacular with fireworks at the Rivers of America!  You would not get the view of Main Street, U.S.A. or Sleeping Beauty Castle, but they usually show the projections of the show on the Rivers of America, so you could catch both shows from that same location if they both are scheduled for that night.  You may even get lucky and catch an early show of Fantasmic! and then enjoy the nighttime spectacular from that same viewing location.

It is sometimes fun to do the impossible, and I believe you can do this, Erika!  As your trip gets closer and the entertainment schedule is released, please do not hesitate to come back and ask me any other questions, I'm more than happy to help!

    Have a magical day,
    Melissa
