Is it possible to take Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECV's/scooters) on the water taxis?

Hi, Robert! The answer to this question is more complicated than it seems on the surface.  ECV's are allowed on MOST of the water transportation at Walt Disney World. The ferry between the Ticket and Transportation Center and the Magic Kingdom accommodates them on the first level.  Friendships also allow ECV's, and they go between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios and have stops at the Epcot-area Resorts. Friendships also travel between stops in Epcot's World Showcase Lagoon. There are a few exceptions that do not accommodate ECV's. The Resort Launches to and from the Magic Kingdom do not take them, except the ones to Fort Wilderness Campground and the Wilderness Lodge. They are larger, and you can generally board.  The Downtown Disney ferries take regular wheelchairs, but even they must be folded. Water levels can also influence whether or not ECV's are allowed to board, and if the water levels are too low,  there will be signs indicating ECV's are not allowed before you reach the boarding area.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
