Is it possible to get the dining plan for the adults in our group, and one child under 9, but then pay cash for the others two kids (11,13).

    ChEARs Sherry!

I see you are visiting us in the summer, and I love that you are already pre-planning your meals. You have a friend in us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel as we are a bunch of super planners!

The Disney Dining Plan is available to all Resort Hotel Guests and is a fantastic way to manage your dining budget at Walt Disney World. When you add the plan to your hotel reservation, each person staying in the room will receive the allotted credits for the length of your stay. Unfortunately, this means that if the two kiddos you mentioned are staying in the same room as you, you will need to purchase dining plans for them also.

My family are grazers, and the littles eat like birds, so when we enjoy a dining plan, we usually choose the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. This allows us to grab small meals on the go, and we don’t feel overwhelmed by the amount of food. We love to use the My Disney Experience mobile app to pre-order our food while we wait in line at an attraction. The picky eaters have time to decide what they want to eat, and our time in the Parks is much more efficient (which speaks to the soul of this Disney-planning mama).

Sherry, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. I wish you a magical vacation!
