Hi moms! Is it possible to have my daughter's (age 16) debit card connected to her MagicBand instead of my debit card? She has been saving her own money and would prefer to have it connected to her account. Thoughts? Thanks!

    Hi Cindy,

Unfortunately this is not possible. Everyone with charging privileges in the same room must be linked to the same payment method. It's not currently possible to link each of the individuals in a room to different credit or debit cards.

A common solution to this issue is for someone like your daughter to buy a Disney gift card and use that for charging in the parks. You can buy Disney gift cards at Disney stores and many supermarkets prior to your trip, or at most gift shops while on Disney property. She could use the gift card to pay for her purchases on your vacation. Additionally she could directly use a debit card or cash at nearly all food and merchandise locations.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what we can do to help.
