Is it possible when checking in to ask to be closest to the lobby if I have a standard room or do I have to get a preferred room. How much more is a preferred room than a standard at Coronado springs.

    Nicole,

Yes, you can ask to be closer to the lobby, both during the Online Check-In, as well as when you are there in person. I have been very successful in both, and as long as they have rooms within your category available to improve your proximity, they will usually do it. Sometimes they even bump you up to a preferred room, though of course there are no guarantees to that happening.

As to the upcharge, typically it is in the $25 to $30 per night added charge range. I would not spend the extra money at that resort, as I think you can get pretty close without having to do so. But that is your call!

    Have a magical vacation!
