Welcome to
planDisney, Karen! I’m excited to know that you have plans to visit the Walt Disney World Resort in just about a week! I’m happy to help you figure this out.
I have been right where you are when it comes to wanting to change the dates for my
theme park tickets. First, I suggest logging in to your
My Disney Experience account. Go to “My Plans” to see the tickets linked to your account. If you have the option to “modify” your ticket online, you will see the word in blue. In that case you can click on it to modify the date, to change it to your desired date. If you don’t, you would need to call the resort at (407) 939-5277 to speak to a Cast Member. They will be able to help you change the dates.
It’s important to remember, if the price for the day you want to visit is lower than the price for the ticket you already purchased, you will not receive a credit or refund for that amount. If the price of the ticket for the day you would like to visit is higher, you would have to pay the difference.
Karen, once you have your tickets organized the way you want them, there are a few steps we all need to take before visiting the theme parks. You will need to make a
Disney Park Pass Reservation for each person in your travel party, via your My Disney Experience account. It’s a really easy step!
It’s always a good idea to take a look at the
Know Before You Go section of the Walt Disney World Resort website before your visit. The section will tell you about the health and safety measures in place right now, all over the Walt Disney World Resort.
I hope this information is helpful to you. For more planning tips, you can always view our
Panel Extras. We are on
Instagram, too, so you can also follow right along with the planDisney team as we explore the parks!
Have a
magical visit!
