Howdy Jenniffer!
Welcome to planDisney! I’m glad you stopped by with your question for us.
Sometimes plans change and trips to Walt Disney World Resort come to a halt; I know, I’ve been there; and I am a firm believer that rather than a “goodbye,” it’s more of a “See ya soon, pal” when it comes to your magical vacation. I’m happy to discuss the
cancellation policy with you, along with options!
Jenniffer, if your theme park tickets were part of a
Disney Vacation Package, which you would have paid a $200 deposit towards, the remainder of the vacation package wouldn't be due until 30 days prior to the beginning of your trip. You are able to cancel up until the 30-day mark before your vacation begins, and after the 30-day mark, some cancellation fees may apply. If you have standalone theme park tickets, a refund is likely not possible, but you are able to change the date to a later time when you are able to visit. You can do this by giving
Existing Tickets a call, and a friendly Cast Member will be happy to assist you. There may be a price difference you would have to pay if the theme park ticket price has increased.
When you do plan to return to the magic, know that your pals at planDisney are all EARS and ready to help with any questions you may have about your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth!
We hope to see ya soon, Jenniffer!
