Hi Kevin,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Ooh...
Candlelight Processional at Epcot is one of my
very favorite Christmas experiences at the Walt Disney World Resort! Between the gorgeous music and the uplifting story, it gives me chills and fills my heart with joy.
The good news is that no additional purchase is required to see it. As long as you have a valid theme park ticket to enter Epcot, you may see Candlelight Processional. However, with that said, lines can get very long for this popular event. Because a large portion of the theater holds reserved seats for those with a Candlelight Processional dining package, Guests without a dining package will begin lining up long before the show starts (up to several hours!) to make sure they get a seat. I'd definitely recommend looking into a breakfast, lunch, or dinner dining package if it's important to you to see this show and have a good seat. Without a dining package reserved seat, you'll want to consider lining up pretty early. I'd suggest checking with a Cast Member when you arrive to see what they recommend for the date you'll be there as some narrators and dates are more popular than others. It is possible to hear the music and the narrator from the general area around the theater if you don't end up getting a seat, although it's easier to enjoy the entire show if you're seated in the theater without people moving about around you. Whatever you decide to do, I'm confident that you'll enjoy this beautiful and moving experience!
Please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning for your trip, Kevin! Visiting the most magical place on earth
during the holidays is a
wonderful time to visit, and I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
