Ahoy, Kailyn!
It is wonderful to hEAR from you again with another great question about your upcoming
Very Merrytime Cruise with Captain Mickey. I'm so glad you've asked about
Palo because it's a must-do every time I set sail with Disney Cruise Line. Their Chocolate Soufflé is my absolute favorite dessert on both land and sea, and my mouth starts to water just thinking about this delicious goodness! I genuinely love everything about the Italian-inspired meal at Palo, but above all, the service is exceptional. I'm always blown away by the server's attention to detail and their extensive knowledge of the menu items. It's always such a treat to hear their recommendations, and we like to request the same server for brunch and dinner.
Kailyn, you'll find Palo opened for dinner only on embarkation day between 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. On the seven-night sailings, brunch is offered on sea days from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. I highly suggest reserving both meals as they are equally amazing and very different from each other. The brunch offers both a buffet and menu options, and you may not need to eat again that day. I usually reserve our meal around 10:30 or 11:00 a.m., so we are hungry by our second seating dinner! On our last sailing, our server recommended the lasagna, which was baked to perfection.
Since you asked about dining options on the first day, I wanted to share the lunch options available. Typically, the Disney Fantasy offers a sit-down lunch in
Animator's Palate, a buffet option in
Cabanas or quick-service selections such as Fillmore's Favorites, Luigi's Pizza and Tow Mater's Grill on the
pool deck.
Thank you again for sailing by, Kailyn.
Have a magical day!
Nancy
