Is it possible to add another night to an existing reservation? If so, how can that be done?

Hey there, Lacey! I'm so pleased to welcome you to planDisney!

Lacey, sometimes the best plans need adjustment and I'm happier than Joy from Inside Out to chat with you today about modifying your reservation.

Depending on your type of reservation, adding another day to your Disney Resort Hotel reservation may be done through your My Disney Experience account (as long as there is inventory available). Once you have logged into your account, hover over the words, "My Disney Experience" in the top right corner and click on, "My Plans." Once you have clicked on "My Plans," you'll be taken to a new page. Scroll down until you see your current reservation listed. If available to be modified online, you'll see the option to "Modify Reservation." Click on those words and follow the prompts. If you don't see the option on this page, you'll need to call in to speak with a Cast Member about adding a night.

Lacey, if for some reason the type of room or accommodation you have already booked isn't available for an additional night, you may want to consider a second reservation at a different Disney Resort Hotel or a different room type. My family often will do "split stays," when we want to add on an extra night or if we want to try out another location.

I'll be wishing on a star that you can easily modify your reservation to add another night of pixie dust to your upcoming trip. Please come on back to planDisney if you have any additional questions.

    Have a Magical trip!

My husband and I became Disney Vacation Club Members because we love visiting the Disney Parks and with hectic day-to-day schedules, wanted to prioritize time away for our family. The options at the Walt Disney World Resort make each trip unique and I am excited to help other families build vacations with those unforgettable moments.
