Is it possible to activate my magic band a day before I check in to my resort so I can visit a park a day early?

Thanks for bringing another question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Shannon!

As long as you have a valid Theme Park ticket linked to your My Disney Experience account (and a MagicBand linked, too), you should be able to enter the Theme Parks. Depending on the type of vacation package and/or type of ticket you purchased, though, you will need to check the validity date of the ticket to see if it can be used the day before you check into your Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

To check your ticket’s validity dates, log into your My Disney Experience account online or via the My Disney Experience mobile app and go to “Tickets and Passes.” There you should see any tickets or passes connected to your account with the dates each is available. Should you run into any issues finding this information, you can also call the “Existing Tickets” helpline.

Hopefully these tips will help get you up and running as soon as possible, Shannon. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help you as you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
