Port Orleans versus one of the All Star Hotels? I'm trying to get to Magic Kingdom when it opens to see Elsa before the lines get too long. And would you use bus or drive? Thanks!

    Hi Heather,

I love Port Orleans Riverside! It is one of my favorite resorts. I love the country charm, the mansions of Magnolia Bend and the ease of travel to all of the parks.

Disney's All-Star Resorts are a great way to spend a vacation. The price of the rooms makes it affordable and you still have all of the benefits of staying on property.

If you can afford Port Orleans-Riverside or French Quarter-I would choose these over All-Stars just because they are less crowded. Also, French Quarter can be its own bus which is nice when returning home from the parks.

As for getting to Magic Kingdom early, take the bus. Parking at the Magic Kingdom requires you to take a monorail or boat to get to the park from the parking lot. Plus if you arrive later, you may need a tram to the one of these modes of transportation. The bus leaves you at the front of the park.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
