Does Port Orleans Riverside have clothes steamers in the rooms?

Hiya, Michelle! I'm so glad that you floated down the Bayou and brought your question to us at planDisney!

It sounds like you're going to be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth during the most wonderful time of year! There will be so many ways to celebrate the season, from the Candlelight Processional to the Holiday Cookie Stroll found during the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. Also, did you hear the news? Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is back this year! I'm so excited to buy tickets to this event so I can watch Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and see it "snow" on Main Street!

Michelle, you are going to love your time at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. My husband and I traveled to Walt Disney World Resort in May and chose this Disney Resort hotel to call "home" during our trip! We absolutely loved nighttime walks along the Sassagoula River and stopped by Scat Cat's Club in Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter a time or two to pick up Mickey-shaped beignets. We also loved that our room gave subtle nods to The Princess and the Frog, which is one of our favorite movies! Speaking of rooms, we noticed an iron, full-sized ironing board, and hairdryer as amenities during our stay, but unfortunately did not see a clothes steamer. I also enjoy using a clothes steamer during my trips and found a great, portable version that I pack with me during my travels to Walt Disney World Resort. Also, don't forget to check out all the resort benefits available to you, especially Early Theme Park Entry! This will allow you to magically enter the parks 30 minutes before official park opening.

While you're putting the finishing touches on your magical vacation, I have a few more tips for you! First, make sure that you've made your theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass system. This is an important step to reserve the parks you'd like to visit on each day of your trip! And take a little time to download and explore the My Disney Experience app, which feels a little like holding your own magic wand in your hand. You'll be able to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and (my favorite!) mobile order food! I love knowing my meals and snacks will be ready before I ever feel a rumbly in my tumbly.

If you have any other questions, please visit us again. As my pal Tiana says, you're "almost there!"

    Blue skies and sunshine,
    Michelle
