"Port Arrival Time"- I had to choose the 12:00-12:30 slot even tho I will arrive at 11:00. What can I expect because of this? And does embarkation really begin at 1:00 pm as some personal navigators I see say places open on ship as early as 11:30

    Ahoy Andrea!
Welcome to the Moms Panel! Disney Cruise Line began using "Port Arrival Times" in recent years to help reduce the number of Guests in the cruise terminal at the same time.  Since you will be arriving at 11:00 AM, you will be able to check-in, but your boarding number will reflect your 12:00-12:30 time slot.  Concierge Guests and Guests with port arrival times between 11:00 and 12:00 will usually begin boarding between 11:30 and 11:45. Numbers are called continuously after that so you won't have to wait too long to walk through the golden Mickey ears to begin your vacation.  While you wait you can visit the observation deck to see the ship up close, get in line for a character picture, check out the large model of the Disney Magic or just sit and rest up for all the fun that is about to come your way!
Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel, Andrea!  If I can answer any other questions, please let me know!
    Have a magical day!
