Hi there, Morgan! Welcome to planDisney!
Disney's Pop Century Resort is my favorite value hotel on property, and I love the retro vibe and the convenience of being close to the
Disney Skyliner transportation system. A few years ago, all the guest rooms underwent a refurbishment, and instead of two full-sized beds, the rooms now have two queen beds, one of which is a pull-down Murphy bed unit. I can attest that the beds are very comfortable and have pillow-top mattresses. I also really appreciate the functionality that the Imagineers added.
Everything POP Shopping & Dining is the name of the food court here, and the cuisine fits with the resort's theme, right down to the groovy Tie-dye Cheesecake (which has a cult-like following). There are various ordering stations with choices that will please every palate, and it operates from 7:00 AM-11:00 PM daily. Unfortunately, In-Room Dining has yet to return to Pop Century. However, guests are welcome to order meals at the food court and bring them back to their room. When I was there, I saw many people picking up their
Mobile Orders, which were neatly bagged up in to-go containers. This would be a good alternative, especially when you want breakfast in your room before heading to the parks or if you need a late-night snack after a long day of touring.
Mickey and I hope you have a gnarly time, Morgan! See ya real soon!
