Hi, We are going to Pop Century in Nov. We were wondering if the bridge will be open to go to the new resort at that time. We also were wondering if Pop Century has the new mug system. Thanks, Patti C.

    Hi Patti,

Yes, the "Generation Gap" bridge is open. You're welcome to walk over and check out the new Art of Animation resort. I've stayed there and it is beautiful. The AoA pool is exclusively for the use of AoA guests, but you're welcome to eat at the food court there. They have many interesting dishes - greatly expanding your walkable dining options if you're staying at the Pop.

As of today, the Pop Century does not have the RFID mug system in place. But things are constantly changing at Walt Disney World and new RFID points are being added all over the place, so it possible that this could be different in November. My room key at AoA used RFID technology, I didn't even have to insert it into the door.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
