Allyson,
Thanks for your question!
I love
Disney's Pop Century Resort! From the over-the-top decor, to the convenience of the new
Disney Skyliner, it is a perfect place to stay for so many reasons.
Being close to parking does mean that you are typically further away from the Disney Skyliner and the main pool. That being said, I would ask to be in these buildings, in the following order of preference;
- Building 10 (70s Era)
- Building 3 (50s Era)
- Building 1 (50s Era)
I like Building 10 the most because you are mere steps away from the Classic Hall (where check in and the resort food court is located) and the bus stops for the resort. It is where I stayed on my last visit to this resort. You have also shortened your walk to the
Hippy Dippy pool (which is the main one), but you don't have a pool right outside your door, which could cause a lot of noise. You are still a manageable walk from the Skyliner as well. Buildings 3 and 1 do the same, with #1 being great for parking proximity, and three for Skyliner proximity.
As an alternative, if you are able to move in to either of the 60s Era buildings (#4 & 5), those are immediately next to the pool, and are the closest to the Skyliner. I don't have them in my first three choices because they are further away from the parking, and the premium rooms are typically located in those buildings, but they could be good choices as well.
I hope that this helps! Write us back at the panel if you have other questions!
Have a Magical Vacation!
