Hello there, Tonya!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited to discuss two very magical
Walt Disney World Resort hotels with you!
Looking to stay at either
Disney’s Pop Century Resort or
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort? You can’t go wrong with either because they’re both absolutely wonderful choices. When I first walked into the lobby of Disney’s Pop Century Resort, I was instantly taken back to my childhood as I wandered around and admired the shadow box decor on the walls. They have items from each decade from the 50’s to the 90’s, and I could stay a while feeling wonderfully nostalgic! Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is sure to draw you in with its bright and colorful details! You will find many photo opportunities with some your favorite Disney movies such as,
The Little Mermaid,
The Lion King,
Finding Nemo, and
Cars. It truly brings out my inner child!
While the two Resort hotels are not included in the Resorts where pool hopping is allowed, and Guests will be required to use the pool of the Resort hotel they are currently staying, you are sure to love the pools at each hotel because each
Resort hotel comes with a few options for your choosing! At
Disney’s Pop Century Resort, you will find the Hippy Dippy Pool with flower-shaped water jets, along with a kiddie pool behind it, the Bowling Pool shaped like a bowling pin, and the Computer Pool that includes a giant floppy disc in all its 1990’s glory! The
pools at Disney’s Art of Animation are fin-tastic! The Big Blue Pool is the largest hotel pool in all of Walt Disney World and little ones can splash around in the Schoolyard Sprayground next to it. There are also the Cozy Cone Pool with cone-shaped cabanas, and Flippin’ Fins Pool which is based on a classic favorite,
The Little Mermaid. Hours and lifeguard availability vary at all Resort hotel pools and pool hours are subject to change. Complimentary towels are provided at all the pools.
Tonya, if you’re staying at either Resort hotel, you will find the ease and convenience of the
Disney Skyliner. It’s truly a magical way to be transported from your Resort hotel to
Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the International Gateway at
EPCOT.
We hope to see you real soon, Tonya!
