    Are the pools at Ft. Wilderness heated?

    Hi Debra,

    While my five children will happily splash around in ANY water, I'm much more apt to sit out and just watch if it feels too cold. If you're at all like me, you'll be happy to hear that yes, all Disney pools are heated, including the ones at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort!  I love being able to swim WITH my kids instead of just watching them from afar. The whirlpool spa will be even warmer than the pool, so feel free to enjoy that, too.  Pools are open year-round, but may close in case of inclement weather.

    You're going to love staying at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort!  There are so many fun things to do!  Did you know you can visit the stables to see the home of the majestic horses from Main Street, U.S.A.? That was one of my family's favorite things to do during our last visit to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Feel free to enjoy a wagon ride or horse-drawn carriage ride while you're there. I'd also recommend Chip 'N' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long as a special way to end a magical day.
