Hiya Blake,
Welcome to planDisney! First off, thank you so much for your service. As the daughter of two veterans, I am honored to assist you today. When it comes to planning, like you, I like to leave nothing to chance. I carefully plan each detail of my trip down to the minute, so I empathize with how vital pre-planning is to you.
To ensure I gave you the most accurate answer possible, I contacted a Cast Member first. According to the Cast Member (and in line with my personal experience), all of the
Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotels pools require a MagicBand or a resort hotel card for entry.
Blake, for me, I visit the pools at my resort hotel when I need a little moment of calm after the hustle and bustle of the Theme Parks. So when I’m selecting a resort hotel, I tend to pick one with a calmer vibe. For example, even though
Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts is arguably the best pool on the property, it is always a little too busy for me. Me, I prefer the
Feature Pool at Disney’s Contemporary Resort,
Riviera Pool at Disney’s Riviera Resort, and
Uzima Springs Pool at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. That said, no matter which resort you select, depending on the time of day and the season, you can experience fewer crowds.
I hope this was helpful and puts you at ease as you make your resort selections. If you need anything else, please come back and see us. I speak for the entire panel when I say we would be honored to help you plan your vacation.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
