Are the pools at the Polynesian heated?

    Hiya Jennifer!

Thanks for swimming by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you have a splash-tactic vacation coming up!

You will be pleased to hear that all pools at the Walt Disney World Resort are heated to a practically perfect 82 degrees year round! I have a family of Nemos, so if we are not in the Parks, we are in the pool, and I can assure you that the ONLY problem with the pool is getting out, not in!

I see that you are arriving at the end of April. That is a perfect time of year to be in the pool in Florida. The average temperature is in the 80s with very little rain (but! be prepared for it, because, Florida!). Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has fantastic pools. The Lava Pool is where all the action happens - a volcano, a waterfall, and a 142-foot long waterslide will keep you entertained all day!

When you want a bit of lush tranquility, the Oasis Pool is the perfect place to leisurely relax. The Oasis Patios offer cushioned lounge chairs in a private shaded area right next to the pool. They accommodate up to six Guests and are available to rent on a first-come, first-serve basis. While you’re lounging, order the fish tacos and a tropical cocktail. I promise it’s the recipe for a perfect day!

Jennifer, enjoy planning your big blue world of vacation. Feel free to come back with any additional questions!
