Are all the pools heated at old key west Disney resort?

Margie, let's dive into your question! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney today. You'll be arriving for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation in a few days, so I hope you have your sunscreen and sunglasses packed. Let's see if pool time is in your future!

I chatted with a whistle-wearing Cast Member who said all four pools at Disney's Old Key West Resort are typically heated this time of year. As an Orlando local, I can attest that it's been a bit chilly in the mornings and evenings; I'm glad the pool will offer a warm respite for your party!

Occasionally, due to maintenance or extreme cold, the heaters may be turned off. The Cast Member also cautioned that the heated pools are most comfortable when the sun is out; he warned that it can be a bit chilly when you make that first splash! Here's hoping it warms up nicely during your stay; maybe Tink will sprinkle some sunbeams along with pixie dust!

I stayed at Old Key West recently and found a hidden gem in the Sassagoula River Cruise. This leisurely boat ride sails through draping moss and bird habitats to nearby Disney Springs. My husband and I enjoyed capping off our day at Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar; the Beer Flight was so fun and refreshing!

Margie, I hope you dive into the magic on your upcoming trip. Please stop by planDisney with any questions. I'll have a beach towel ready and waiting!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
