Are you ready for some splashing great news? All
Disney Resort hotel pools are heated year-round to a lovely 82 degrees, so yes, go ahead and plan your February adventure and be prepared to swim to your heart's content!
Now, with that said, February weather in central Florida can certainly vary. The average highs are in the mid 70's, but it's not out of the realm of possibility that it's quite a bit colder than that. My kiddos always look forward to swimming no matter how cold the air temperature is, as it's usually warmer down there than what we're used to further north. I don't like to be cold, though, and if it's chilly outside, I'll sit and watch them from the comfort of my lounge chair, then join them when they're ready to move over to the hot tub. (You'll find hot tubs available at select Disney Resort hotels.) Of course, it's also possible that the weather will be much warmer than the average, and if that's the case, a dip in the pool will feel incredibly refreshing! Oh, here's a tip for you...Be sure to ask for a recreation calendar when you check in, as you'll not only find the pools enjoyable, but there are often fun activities going on poolside, too. My family loves putting our Disney trivia knowledge to the test while we're enjoying our pool time.
