Hey there David,
It is great to see you back at planDisney. It won't be much longer until you are on the way to
The World's Most Magical Celebration!
While February often brings smaller crowd levels, it can also bring slightly cooler temperatures. This is great news if you are not a fan of the summer heat, but it can make pool days a little chilly. The great news is all
Disney Resorts Collection pools are heated to 82 degrees year round. This means that the water will be nice and comfortable, but you may want a towel nearby if the air temperature is on the cool side. Hours for both the Copper Creek Springs and Boulder Ridge Cove Pools vary throughout the year and weather conditions but you can typically expect them to be open by 10am and stay open until around 10pm. Additionally, there may be times (early morning or later in the evening) when the pools are actually open but there are no lifeguards on duty. It is always best to check with the Front Desk to confirm pool operating hours for your stay and remember the hours may still change for inclement weather conditions.
I suggest mid-day pool time. Not only is that usually the warmest part of the day, but it is a great way to recharge your batteries before heading back to the theme parks for the evening. And don't forget the sunscreen. The Florida sun has a tendency to sneak up on you even during the winter months. If I can help with any further planning questions, I hope you will stop back and
see me.
T-T-F-N (Ta-Ta for now),
Margaret
