Can you “pool hop” between The Fort Wilderness Campgrounds and Wilderness Lodge?

Hi Mary! Thanks for bringing your question to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

While “pool hopping” is not allowed between Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, there’s plenty to enjoy at either resort.

The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is my family’s favorite place to stay at the Walt Disney World Resort! The resort boasts two awesome pools. The Meadow Swimmin’ Pool is for your adventure seeker, it has a 67-foot-long corkscrew waterslide! Right across the way your little ones can splash it up at a fort-themed water play area and swoosh down tot-friendly slides. The Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool offers a more relaxing swim and guests of all ages are welcome.

With that much to enjoy at one resort, there’s really no need to go elsewhere!

Did you know that the only place you can rent a golf cart at the Walt Disney World Resort is at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds? My family and I ditch our car keys our whole stay and get around exclusively on our golf cart until we check out. I bet it will add an extra layer of fun when getting you and your family to the pools on site!

Mary, hope this information helps! Please feel free to stop by again if you have any more questions!
