Ahoy, Diane! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for bringing us your Disney Cruise Line question. It sounds like you are planning the perfect vacation that features Disney magic both on land and at sea.
If you are staying at the
Walt Disney World Resort prior to embarkation day, then you will have two separate reservations: one for your stay at
Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort and one for your sailing with Disney Cruise Line. The port transportation that you want to add will be added to your cruise reservation. Although some
ground transportation options can be added to your cruise reservation online, you must call Disney Cruise Line directly at (800) 951-3532 to add a one-way transfer from your hotel to
Port Canaveral. Cast members are available to speak with you Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM EST, and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST. Be sure to have your cruise reservation number ready before you call and they will ask you about your resort for pick-up. When you call, you can also add a one-way transfer from Port Canaveral to the Orlando International Airport if you need transportation for disembarkation day too.
Disney makes the transition between Disney World and Port Canaveral seamless, so booking the ground transportation ahead of time will save you a lot of unnecessary stress. I hope that answers your question and will let you check another thing off of your vacation planning list for your trip next February. If you have any more questions about your stay at Disney World or sailing with Disney Cruise Line, then we are always here to help at planDisney. Happy sailing!
