Linda,
Thanks for your question to planDisney!
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort does have adjoining rooms available, though they cannot be guaranteed, only requested. With their inventory of available adjoining rooms, Disney prioritizes larger families that are visiting with younger children where the connecting room is essential.
If keeping everyone together is a requirement for you, there are some options. At the Polynesian there are now the Bora Bora Bungalows. These over-the-water retreats sleep 8 with two dedicated bedrooms, but they can be more expensive than some other accommodations.
Your next option is to look at some of the Deluxe villas at other resorts. There are a variety of 2- and 3-bedroom choices across Walt Disney World, at such locations as the nearby
Disney's Contemporary Resort and
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
Finally, there are the family suites, like the ones at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. These richly decorated suites at the Value resort sleep up to 6, while still allowing the luxury of a dedicated master bedroom.
Write me back if you have any follow-up questions or want some thoughts on any of your options.
Have a Magical Vacation!Doug
