Aloha Lisa!
Your question just transported me directly to the sandy shores of Seven Seas Lagoon. I've had the honor of staying at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort once before, yet a stay in the Bungalows remains on my bucket list. Relaxing in a private plunge pool with views of Cinderella Castle sounds like the most blissful way to vacation. The sun, the sand, the tropical vibes; I can practically hear a ukelele lullaby now!
Private in-room dining is currently only available at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, but it's a service I hope returns to more resorts in the future. As
my fellow panelist Amy shared with another guest, most in-room dining options remain paused post-pandemic. You'll find plenty of
dining options at the resort, some of which can be Mobile Ordered for takeaway to enjoy while taking in the panoramic views from your Bungalow's deck.
Kona Island is an especially great option for grab-and-go sushi and desserts throughout the day.
Bungalows feature a full kitchen complete with a toaster, microwave, oven, refrigerator, cookware, cutlery, and dishes. You might consider placing a grocery for delivery, but honestly, I never want to cook on vacation and wouldn't blame you for leaving that kitchen in its pristine check-in condition. If you're looking for more options you might want to check out the Ear for Each Other group on Facebook. I haven't used any of these providers personally, but I often see posts from current and former Cast Members and other guests sharing their experiences.
Lisa, I know this isn't the answer you hoped for but I hope it doesn't detract from the magic of your stay. I say get dressed up and enjoy an evening of fine dining at one of the other Monorail area resorts. My husband and I have plans to dine at
California Grill in September and also can't recommend
Narcoossee's and
Citricos, both at Grand Floridian, highly enough.
Mahalo and Bon Appétit,
Amy
