Does the Poly have a kids playground and is the quiet pool off limits to kids? All of a sudden my 1 year old is afraid of the water and splashing, thinking the quiet pool might be good for her instead since she isn't the splashing cannon ball jumping type

    Hi Rebecca,

Yes, there is a playground at the Polynesian, as well as a large sandy beach area where many children like to dig and make castles.

Children are allowed in all the pools at Walt Disney World, there are none that are reserved for adults. The term quiet pool simply means that there are no extra features like slides and that there are is no poolside music or party type activities that you might find at one of the larger pools. You would be welcome to bring your daughter to any pool at the Poly.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we ca do to help.
