Hello William, and welcome to planDisney.
I'm sorry to hear your Walt Disney World Resort vacation might be impacted.
Cancellation policies vary according to the type of experience being cancelled. As a regular Guest myself, I wouldn't have information about the type of reservations you hold, so I'll outline some general cancellation policies in effect at this time.
Vacation packages can be cancelled for a full refund at least 30 days in advance of arrival, less any fees assessed by third-party providers or any non-refundable package components. For packages cancelled between 2 and 29 days prior to arrival, the amount paid less a cancellation fee of $200 is refunded, again less any fees assessed by third-party providers or non-refundable package components. For cancellations made 1 day or less prior to the arrival date, the entire package price is non-refundable.
Room-only reservations at
Disney Resorts Collection hotels may be cancelled up to five days prior to arrival for a refund. Reservations cancelled within five days are subject to a penalty equivalent to one night's stay.
Theme park tickets purchased separately from a package are non-refundable, however, the value of an unused ticket never expires. The ticket start date can be changed to a date in the future. Guests are responsible for any difference in ticket cost for dates with a higher price. The value of an unused but expired ticket can be applied to the cost of a new ticket with a price equal to or greater than the price of the original ticket.
Most
dining reservations must be cancelled 1 day prior to avoid a cancellation or no-show penalty of $10 per Guest. Please see your original confirmation email for specific cancellation penalties for any dining reservations or dining packages you may have booked. (Prices are current as of this writing, but are subject to change.)
Other experiences, such as tours or experiences from the
Enchanting Extras Collection, have their own cancellation policies. Please refer to the cancellation policy provided when booking these experiences.
William, if you need to cancel a hotel reservation or vacation package, I suggest
calling the reservations line at (407) 934-7639 to discuss your options, and perhaps ask if your vacation can be modified for another time that is better for you to travel. If you booked through a travel professional I recommend contacting your booking agent.
I hope I have provided the information you were looking for. If you have any additional questions, please stop by planDisney again.
