Hi Mary!
Welcome to
planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your question about using your Disney Vacation Club
Vacation Points! I love the flexibility offered by a
Disney Vacation Club Membership which allows Members to
bank Vacation Points from one year to the next or
borrow Vacation Points from an upcoming Use Year. My family often likes to bank and borrow into the same year, allowing us to book a longer or more luxurious vacation. The flexibility of a Disney Vacation Club Membership is what makes it absolutely magical!
Since your
Use Year begins in September, your 2020 Vacation Points can be used for stays between the months of September 2020 and September 2021. If you want to use your 2020 Vacation Points for a stay that falls after September 2021, you will need to bank your 2020 Vacation Points into the 2021 Use Year. Please note that Vacation Points must be banked up to four months before the end of your Use Year. For more rules about banking Disney Vacation Club Vacation Points, please read over the
Banking Rules 101 page.
I hope this information helps you to make the most of your Disney Vacation Club Membership. Remember, there are tons of
Membership perks and benefits, so be sure to check those out when planning your next vacation in
The Most Magical Place on Earth! We are always here and ready to help answer your vacation questions at
planDisney, so stop back by any time.
