    From POFQ and using Disney transportation, what is the easiest way to get to the Sleigh Ride at Fort Wilderness? Do we make reservations, and if so, is a credit card needed to hold reservations? Having a GREAT time planning for December - thks for the help

    It sounds like you are having a ton of fun planning for your December trip! In fact, I may just have to try out the Sleigh Ride during our family's trip this December too!

    To get from Port Orleans French Quarter to Fort Wilderness, the easiest way is going to be to take the bus from your resort to the Magic Kingdom. Once you arrive there, there is a boat ferry from the park to the Fort Wilderness.

    The Holiday Sleigh Rides are available from Dec 1 to 30 and last about 25 minutes. Reservations are strongly encouraged to be made in advance and can be made by calling 407-WDW-PLAY. A credit card will be required to book the reservation and, typically, a 24-hour cancellation policy applies.
