Now that POFQ and CSR both offer queen beds, which one would you recommend? Why? If you request a room close to a specific area within the resort, will your request most likely be met?

    Hi Brooke!

Between your two resort choices, I have to recommend Port Orleans French Quarter. We really prefer the smaller size of this resort over the spread out feeling of Coronado Springs. A couple of other great bonuses for Port Orleans French Quarter are the boat transportation over to Downtown Disney (great for meals, shopping, or even a trip to DisneyQuest) and the ability to use the pool and amenities at Port Orleans Riverside. Having this option might be extra fun - if you're planning a day or two of downtime at your resort.

Plus, don't forget to sample some of the beignets at Port Orleans French Quarter - YUM!

With room requests there are no guarantees that they will be met, but Disney does do its best to meet them. Some of will depend on the specific request - a request for a second floor room (for example) is more easily accommodated than a request for a second floor room in building 5 facing the pool. I've always had good luck, but we do tend to keep our requests simple with only one or two requests per trip.

Hope this helps! Have a great trip!
