At PO Riverside I would like to know which rooms are best to stay in for a family of 5? We are going in December and requested Alligator Bayou bottom corner? Is that a good choice? It is such a big resort.

Hi Melissa!   You are really going to enjoy the lush landscape and southern charm of Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside.   I also have a family of 5, and we often stay at this lovely moderate-level resort.   The only rooms at the Resort that will hold families of five will be located in the Alligator Bayou section of this hotel.   Inside of these rooms you will find two queen size beds, and a small trundle sized pull down bed perfect for little mouseketeers.   My children often argue over who will get to sleep in it.

I think your selection of an Alligator Bayou corner room is practically perfect.   The corner rooms have an extra window, which allow for extra light to enter the room.   I hope you take advantage of all the fun extras Disney's Port Orleans-Riverside has to offer; including fishing, and water-taxi service to Downtown Disney.   You really could spend hours just exploring all the exciting features of your resort.  I know you and your family are going to have an unforgettable stay.

Thanks for visiting us today Melissa!  Please let us know when we can assist you again in the future.  We love to help guests have the most magical time possible on a Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
