We have 5:30 pm reservations for Mickey's Backyard BBQ. How do we get to Fort Wilderness Resort from Hollywood Studios and what time should we leave? Do I need to pick up tickets for the BBQ or will our magic bands suffice?

    Hello Ann,
Thanks for submitting your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel-we're here to help you out! You must be excited about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation! I'm so glad to see you planned ahead-you are certain to have a fantastic, boot-stompin' time at Mickey's Backyard BBQ.

You should allow 60-90 minutes for transportation on Walt Disney World Resort property to ensure you make it in time for your reservation. I'm pleased to tell you that there is bus service from Disney's Hollywood Studios directly to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. I would start to leave the park around 4:00 p.m. to ensure that you catch the bus and make it in time for your dinner reservation. You may pick up your tickets for your dinner at any Walt Disney World Resort Concierge desk or the event entrance upon arrival.

I hope you have a magical time!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
