Hi, We have a 7.10pm reservation at Teppan Edo. How long (roughly) will it take to get from the Epcot entrance all the way to the restaurant? We will have a 6 and 8 year old with us and want to make sure we allow plenty of time! Thank you!

    Greetings Helen!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to be visiting Walt Disney World Resort in October!

Teppan Edo in the Japan Pavilion is one of my family's favorite Table-Service restaurants in Epcot. Your children will love being entertained by the Teppan chefs while enjoying delicious Japanese cuisine. I highly recommend the Ginger Mousse Cake for dessert. It's amazing!

I have found the walk from the Main Entrance of Epcot to the World Showcase can vary quite a bit depending on the crowd levels. After going through security and the touch points at the Main Entrance, I would allow at least 30 minutes to get to Teppan Edo. That being said, I would try to arrive at the park at least 60 minutes before your dining reservation to be on the safe side. There are Friendship boats that travel across the World Showcase Lagoon. I don't find they are quicker than walking, but the relaxing ride can be nice after a long day in the parks. Of note, there is also a "back" entrance into Epcot through the International Gateway. However, if you will be arriving by bus, car or monorail, you will be entering Epcot through the Main Entrance, which is located at the front of the park.

I hope this information has been helpful to you, Helen. Let us know if you have any new questions. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip!

    Happy Travels,
    Jodie
