Hi, Terri! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for bringing us your question. My younger daughter loves dining at Cinderella Castle. We actually celebrated her birthday day several years ago and it was the highlight of her day. Celebrating at Magic Kingdom Park is always magical, but having your favorite friend, Princess Jasmine, stop by to wish you a happy birthday? It was definitely a priceless moment!
The view of Fantasyland from inside Cinderella Castle is magnificent. It takes on a special sense of enchantment during the evening, especially as
Happily Ever After nighttime spectacular begins! From this vantage point, you will be able to see lots of the beautiful colors of the fireworks, some of them from a unique up-close perspective as a few are launched from directly behind the castle. It is a really cool and unique spot to watch them. However, if this is the first time you are viewing this spectacular or if this is the only chance you will get to see them during this trip, then it may not be the best spot for you. Part of what makes Happily Ever After so amazing is the laser projections on the front of the castle. Watching the show from inside the castle means you will miss out on those projections and not be able to follow the storyline of it.
If you want to experience both the dinner and Happily Ever After, then I recommend you look for an earlier seating. Guests change their plans often and you never know when an earlier reservation may become available, especially in the weeks leading up to your trip. There is also a new
Signature Celebration Package at Cinderella's Royal Table, which will provide you with dinner, a reserved place to view Happily Ever After, and access to that evening's
After Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace.
I hope this helps you plan a royal evening in Magic Kingdom Park! Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions.
