We have a 12pm ADR for lunch at Mama Melrose. Will we have enough time to eat and get to the 1:20pm showing of Lights, Motor, Action? I heard the theater is huge. We probably wouldn't get there much before the 1:20 star time. Will we still get in?

    Hi Wendy,

Your question has two of my family's favorite things about Disney's Hollywood Studios, Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano and the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show.

I agree with you, with an advance dining reservation at 12:00pm and a show time at 1:20pm you will be cutting it close but I think if you are up for the Disney challenge and some cooperation from your server you can make it. If it was me, I would arrive fifteen minutes early to Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano and when checking in let them know you are trying to make a 1:20pm showtime. There is no guarantee they can immediately seat you but Disney magic does happen. Once seated let your server know  and be ready to order, I am sure he/she will do their best to accommodate you and your family. The great thing is the entrance to Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show is right around the corner. When leaving the restaurant head left, you will pass the Cars Meet and Greet and continue just a little bit further and you will quickly see the entrance appear on your left. The higher seats about halfway to three-quarters of the way up are the best places to sit for optimal viewing but watch out for some of the poles that can block your view.

I hope your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World is memorable and magical and let me know if I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance.
