We have a 7 PM ADR at the Coral Reef two weeks from today! After dinner we would like to grab a couple of glasses of wine and watch Illuminations while we settle into the Disney state of mind after a long day in the air. Where should we do that?

    Hi Kerina!
Your vacation to Walt Disney World is almost here!!!!  Enjoying the theme park attractions and entertainment will make this a memorable time for you!
You've picked the perfect theme park to enjoy a glass of wine, or two.  World Showcase offers an impressive variety of drinks from all the countries represented.  There are those who visit WS and "drink around the world", taste testing many of the libations offered there.  You will definitely have a plethora of options to choose from, so I've listed some locations by country/pavillion:
La Cava Tel Tequila (Mexico):  Great drink options here, mostly Margaritas and Tequila, with beer choices as well.  Definitely try the Blood Orange Margarita.
Weinkeller (Germany):  Great wines and decently priced wine flights (at roughly $10 for 3 2oz samples).
Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar (Italy):  A Gem!!!!  so many amazing wine options here, and the bartenders are really wonderful at tailoring a mixed drink to your taste.  Recently opened, and really a great place to relax and unwind.
Misukoshi (Japan):  If sake is your choice, you can enjoy some at the Sake Tasting Bar, at the rear of the store, right inside the Imperial Palace.
La Maison du Vin (France):  A great selection of French wines are available here, and there is also a drink station right outside which offers Kir Royale...tasty!
You can opt to take your drink and have a seat on the benches that line World Showcase Lagoon, and settle back to enjoy Illuminations.  There is plenty of seating if you make sure to grab a seat early.  My favorite area would have to be the steps right outside of the Italy pavillion. It offers you great views of WS Lagoon, and the fireworks are centrally located here.
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
